A lot has changed at Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg in recent years. The company has a new management, has reorganised itself and moved its headquarters from Bad Blankenburg to Weimar. Last year, Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg then became part of Desay SV Automotive, a leading specialist in automotive electronics from China.
Future investments at headquarters
Currently, with the support of its parent company Desay, Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg is building a new development center for vehicle prototypes, the start of extensive investment at its headquarters in Weimar. "In the midst of the crisis triggered by Covid-19, we are setting the course for growth and future topics such as autonomous driving, 5G and smart antennas," explains Managing Director Dr. Michael Weber the expansion plans.
New appearance stands for new chapter
A completely revised corporate design and a new, forward-looking logo express the changes and future investments. The new brand identity not only stands for agility, dynamism and modernity, but also for an even stronger market and customer orientation.
ATTB connects A with B
The new figurative mark consists of the two stylised letters A and B. This illustrates the core competence of connecting two points (A and B) wirelessly. The letter A stands for antenna technology. And the letter B stands for the origin oft he company (Bad Blankenburg). Below the picture mark is the subline: ATTB Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg. ATTB is the new abbreviation for the company, followed by the brand name Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg, which has been known in the market for many decades.

In the course of this change, the website of Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg was also completely revised and appears under a new address (www.attb.de). In the media library section, a video is available which explains the new brand identity and presents it with design examples.
New brand slogan
In addition, the company is introducing a new brand slogan: We drive connectivity. This short, concise statement expresses what the brand Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg stands for, namely actively driving connectivity with new, innovative products and solutions. The brand slogan is used in various print and online media and is protected by trademark law. "We have developed the new brand identity over many months. It was important for us to involve the employees in the process in order to bring out the uniqueness and the core of the brand," says marketing manager Frank Weber. "We are thus well prepared for the future.“
