Promoting young talent – at ATTB, this doesn't just apply to the technical field. That's why we supported the floorball team at TU Ilmenau with a new, uniform set of jerseys – just in time for this year's adh Open, the official university championship of the General German University Sports Association (adh).
The tournament took place in Ilmenau for the first time and brought together 12 university teams from all over Germany. The teams competed for the title in a “small field” mode at a high athletic level – accompanied by a strong sense of community and a successful evening event.
The MDR Thüringen Journal also reported on the event – with a clearly visible ATTB logo on the playing field.
“We are delighted to get young people moving and to highlight student engagement,” says Mr. Märte, Managing Director of ATTB GmbH. The idea for the tournament came from participants in the floorball course at TU Ilmenau – who were enthusiastic about their own participation in Hanover the previous year.
The winner was the team from TU Munich – TU Ilmenau finished in 9th place. For us, it's clear: team spirit was at least as important here as the final ranking.
