As a technical buyer, you will be responsible for the strategic purchasing of materials and components for the manufacture of our high-quality products.
What you can expect
- Identification and selection of suppliers on the basis of quality, cost and delivery time criteria.
- Negotiating contracts and conditions with suppliers to ensure competitive prices and optimal delivery conditions.
- Maintaining and developing long-term supplier relationships.
- Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance in terms of quality and reliability.
- Co-operation with internal departments such as production, development and quality assurance in order to optimise material procurement.
- Identifying potential savings and implementing cost optimisation measures.
What you bring with you
- Degree in industrial engineering, business administration or comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in technical purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing company.
- Sound knowledge of contract and negotiation management.
- Technical understanding of the procurement of materials and components.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Independent, structured and results-orientated way of working.
- Good written and spoken English.
