What you can expect

  • Conducting incoming goods, in-process, and outgoing goods inspections in accordance with inspection plans
  • Independently creating and maintaining inspection plans, taking into account technical drawings, specifications, and customer and standard requirements (e.g., IATF 16949)
  • Monitoring ongoing production to ensure product quality
  • Blocking materials and products in case of deviations and initiating corrective actions
  • Assisting with failure analysis and handling complaints (e.g., 8D)
  • Preparing initial sample inspection reports (EMPB) in accordance with VDA / PPAP
  • Managing, monitoring, and calibrating test and measuring equipment
  • Performing internal calibrations and coordinating with external service providers
  • Maintaining test equipment data (CAQ system) and ensuring legally compliant documentation
  • Training employees on testing processes and measuring equipment
  • Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and quality
  • Training new employees
  • Applying QM and UM regulations

What you need

  • Technical training (e.g., industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, quality assurance specialist) or comparable experience
  • Several years of practical experience in quality assurance, ideally in a production environment
  • Proficiency in using standard measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, ideally 3D measurement technology)
  • Experience working with test plans and technical drawings
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 is a plus
  • Structured, independent work style and assertiveness
  • Willingness to take on responsibility and make decisions
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly
  • Proficiency with MS Office, ideally CAQ or ERP systems
  • Knowledge of English is desirable
