Production of infotainment solutions and logistics center

"We produce infotainment solutions such as radios and displays for installation in new vehicle models and at the same time operate a logistics center for such solutions," explains site manager Lucas Seel. "This will enable us to respond more flexibly to the wishes of our European automotive customers in the future and significantly shorten delivery times." The existing antenna production in Weimar-Legefeld, which grew strongly last year, will remain unchanged, says Seel.

Further building block in the growth and expansion strategy

"The new production and logistics center in Weimar is another important building block in our growth and expansion strategy in Europe," saya a delighted Dr. Michael Weber, Managing Director of Desay SV Automotive Europe GmbH. "In September 2021, our new development center for prototype vehicles went into operation. Now, in addition to antennas, we also manufacture electronics solutions in Weimar." And plans to build a state-of-the-art 3D antenna measurement chamber are also well advanced, he says. "Our efforts are paying off: Last year alone, we secured 12 project orders from automotive customers for new vehicles. We are making good progress with our growth and expansion strategy," adds Dr. Weber.

New, future-proof jobs

"We are very pleased that Desay SV, as a leading automotive supplier, continues to invest in Weimar," says Peter Kleine, Lord Mayor of the city of Weimar. "This creates new, future-proof jobs and adds another facet to the profile of our city. In the future, we will not only be an important cultural city and conference destination, but also a technology location for the mobility of the future."
